En Nouvelle Calédonie, dans les années 50, tout était à faire, à construire, à créer, à développer. Un pays au bout du monde, perdu au milieu du Pacifique, plein de promesses et de richesses. Les "bâtisseurs" sont arrivés en masse et de tous horizons pour contribuer à l'essor et à la modernisation de l'île. C'est avec beaucoup d'émotion et de fierté que certains d'entre eux nous racontent leur histoire.
In New Caledonia, in the 1950s, everything had to be made, built, created, and developed. A country at the end of the world, lost in the middle of the Pacific, full of promise and wealth. The "builders" arrived en masse and from all walks of life to contribute to the growth and modernization of the island. It is with great emotion and pride that some of them tell us their story.
