Summary
In June 2022, the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) conducted a survey intended to assess public attitudes towards abortion in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade - the 1973 decision that had protected abortion rights nationally. The survey was designed and conducted by PRRI among a random sample of 2,038 adults (age 18 and up) living in all 50 states in the United States who are part of Ipsos's Knowledge Panel.
